    Position Overview

    The Molecular Science Liaisons play a crucial role in articulating the benefits of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to a variety of external stakeholders, including physicians, scientists, and other influential individuals in oncology. This position entails engaging in meaningful, face-to-face interactions with clients, particularly with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Frequent travel within an assigned region (approximately 80% travel) is a key component of this role. The individual will research and synthesize published literature and actively participate in pertinent conferences, ensuring that Caris remains at the forefront of drug and biomarker associations. This knowledge will be leveraged to further educate and enhance the understanding of the targeted customer base in their designated area.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as a vital link between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences, communicating insights about current products, addressing the needs of healthcare professionals, and advancing patient care, research developments, clinical trials, and therapeutic strategies.

    • Deliver engaging presentations on clinical data and educational resources to physician offices and at conferences in alignment with Sales and Marketing objectives.

    • Advocate for CMI among physicians across Europe, collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams.

    • Stay informed about scientific advancements by reading and analyzing relevant literature in the therapeutic oncology domain, enhancing customer engagement.

    • Assist in executing special projects and additional duties as assigned by Sales and Marketing.

    • Support the training of contracted speakers in the Caris Speaker’s Bureau to reinforce their expertise and effectiveness.

    • Act as a field trainer within the designated region, complementing the efforts of our Director of Training.

    • Engage in regional events (such as Roundtables, Grand Rounds, and Tumor Boards) to broaden the clinical understanding of CMI.

    • Participate in key regional and national trade shows, along with sales meetings, to share essential data and promote CMI effectively to clients in the marketplace.

    • Provide commercial feedback and participate in the review of marketing materials to ensure they align with the current molecular landscape.

    Essential Qualifications

    • An M.D. or Ph.D. in a biological science, particularly in pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular and cellular biology, or equivalent experience is required.

    • The candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment process, including a criminal background check, drug screening, credit check, and reference verification.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a commercial setting, such as Pharmaceuticals or Commercial Laboratory environments, is highly desirable.

    • A strong foundation in Molecular Oncology is preferred.

    Training Requirements

    • All necessary job-specific, safety, and compliance training will be provided according to the responsibilities associated with this position.

    Compensation Range

    $140,000 – $160,000

    Actual salary offered may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skills. The pay structure, including base salary and potential incentives, will be finalized upon offer.
