    Join us as we seek a part-time Electrical Inspector – Lightning Protection who will play a pivotal role in inspecting lightning protection systems in various buildings and structures. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with relevant standards, preparing inspection reports, and maintaining effective communication with clients while planning field visits.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough inspections of lightning protection systems, ensuring adherence to LPI, NFPA, and UL standards.
    • Draft comprehensive reports detailing inspection findings.
    • Evaluate compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
    • Coordinate with clients for inspection scheduling and logistics.
    • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Hourly rate ranges from $32 to $40, reflective of your individual experience and qualifications.
    • Note that this part-time role does not include additional benefits, allowing for flexibility to suit your schedule.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or electrical trades (roles such as Installer, Technician, Electrician, Contractor, or Inspector preferred).
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
    • Strong independent problem-solving skills to analyze data and draw conclusions.
    • Commitment to safety, adhering to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements on-site.
    • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
    • Flexibility in scheduling with the capability to work anywhere from 0 to over 40 hours weekly.
    • Must have reliable internet access.
    • Physical capability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, and lift/carry at least 40 pounds.
    • Ability to travel 75% of the time, which may include air and overnight trips.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
