We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Localization QA Tester / Proofreader who possesses native-level proficiency in Polish and has a solid foundation in technical skills. This role is perfect for candidates who thrive at the intersection of linguistic precision and technology.

In this position, you will engage with various applications and tools, executing rigorous test cases, pinpointing localization challenges, and documenting them effectively within our internal bug-tracking system. You will also be responsible for verifying the implementation of fixes to ensure both linguistic and functional excellence.

This opportunity is fully remote and offered on a part-time basis under a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. You’ll have a flexible schedule, working 20 hours per week with shifts of 4 hours each day, to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS platforms.
• Execute comprehensive test cases and scripts to verify localization accuracy.
• Identify, report, and monitor localization bugs using our internal bug-tracking system.
• Validate fixes and maintain high standards of linguistic and functional quality.
• Prioritize linguistic issues by categorizing them as critical or non-critical.
• Document and communicate steps to reproduce issues in a clear manner.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications:

• Native-level fluency in Polish, including a strong grasp of grammar, vocabulary, composition, and punctuation.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance (QA).
• Strong technical abilities with a knack for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and execution of test cases.
• Capacity to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
