We are currently seeking a skilled Telemedicine Weight Loss Physician for an exciting opportunity in Maryland. This role begins on July 1, 2025, and extends through June 30, 2026, with a one-year commitment and the possibility of extension. Expect to work day shifts, with each shift lasting 8 hours.

In this position, you will conduct weight loss consultations lasting approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Our dedicated VieMed staff will facilitate the Zoom call, manage patient intake, and prepare notes for your review before bringing you into the session. After your consultation, you will finalize a basic note, approve prescriptions, select starting doses, and include any additional relevant information. Subsequently, our team will rejoin the call to complete the remaining paperwork and processes.

We are looking for candidates who are Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, particularly those with experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings. Scheduling is flexible, offering 4-5 hour blocks based on your availability and our staffing requirements. Please note that a functional laptop compatible with Zoom and the EMR is essential for this role, and we require that consultations be conducted in a controlled environment—no consultations while driving, please.

Compensation for this role starts at $35.00 per consultation, with the potential to conduct 3-4 consultations per hour depending on your efficiency.
