Procurement Analyst/Financial Analyst
Remote
The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for partnering with specific business units to manage their sourcing needs. This includes the development of a vendor strategy, designing and administering RFXs, negotiations, contracting, and other sourcing management functions. This position also leads mid-sized department projects and initiatives as well as assists in the development of the company’s Strategic Sourcing strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Set the category sourcing strategy and leverage all spend to manage category’s total costs while enhancing vendor services to meet category’s ever evolving needs
• Work directly with business partners and Strategic Sourcing Leadership to refine the sourcing strategy to address and meet the ever-changing needs and requirements
• Initiate, direct and conduct all activities relating to evaluating, selecting, negotiating and implementing preferred supplier contracts and develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers
• Negotiate and manage the contracting process for business partners ensuring that terms are consistent with our standards and that renewals, amendments, and terminations are managed timely
Other duties as assigned:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, supply chain or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
• 5 years strategic sourcing, vendor management, procurement, or similar experience
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship • Prior project management experience requiring collaboration and coordination across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, collaborate, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • PBM/health care experience
• Experience sourcing one or more of the following categories, facilities, marketing, human resources, clinical, customer service, or PBM operations
• Familiarity with vendor contracting requirements in the healthcare industry (e.g., HIPAA, accreditation agencies, etc.)
