    Project Manager – Program/Project Operations Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 75% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US The Opportunity: This opportunity is a part of a larger initiative to establish the foundation of a large multi-year award to the Department of the Air Force to modernize and operate network infrastructure on its bases throughout the world. This Project Manager opportunity will require the following objectives: Establish a network infrastructure modernization initiative based on customer requirements for modernizing, operating, and maintaining Voice and Data Network infrastructure on a single base, as part of a multi-base DAF Task Order initiative. Identify and implement the appropriate staffing resources to meet program requirements. Establish a repeatable, scalable, cost-effective pattern to implement across multiple bases to create a standard base infrastructure for the DAF. Responsibilities: Develop and utilize project plans and schedules to manage and report against customer requirement. These plans may address items such as Requirements analysis and tracking, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Project Staffing, etc. Lead project teams consisting of Engineers, Technicians and Sub-Contractor support in the development of Engineering Installation Plans (EIPs) and facilitate customer reviews and approvals of designs. Manage installation teams consisting of Engineers, Technicians and Sub-Contractor labor in the execution of EIP installations ensuring project scope and schedule are maintained and costs are within budget. Plan, coordinate, and lead customer meetings. Develop and present appropriate presentation materials for customer meetings as required. Lead outside / Inside Plant (OSP / ISP) engineering / installation efforts in multiple locations simultaneously. Create, review, track and deliver contract deliverables as required by the PWS / SOW Qualifications: Required: 7-10 years of experience managing infrastructure modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Management or other related discipline and 3-5 years of related experience or a combination of skills, education, and experience Ability to achieve and maintain a minimum of Secret-level clearance. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or an equivalent certification / work experience Experience managing / leading matrix teams working in multiple location simultaneously. Ability to develop and implement business strategies and plans to improve operational efficiency. Desired: Experience performing Program Management tasks Experience working with US ARMY and Air Force Programs Experience with USG Property Management and Accountability practices Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner Experience with Configuration Management – What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. () Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
