In this exciting position, you’ll discover:
- Booking & Managing Speaking Opportunities: Actively seek and secure speaking engagements for Chris across various formats, including webinars, in-person presentations, and corporate training sessions. Your creativity will be key as you pitch Chris to prospective partners and handle all engagement details intricately.
- Coordinating Logistics: Ensure every logistical aspect runs seamlessly. You’ll collaborate with Chris’s executive assistant to manage travel arrangements, work with event hosts to supply essential materials (think bios and headshots), and ensure Chris is thoroughly prepared for every appearance.
- Follow-Up & Relationship Management: Implement robust follow-up strategies to confirm engagements and meticulously oversee every detail. You’ll serve as the main liaison for partners, guaranteeing a flawless experience from initiation to completion.
- Sales & Organizational Expertise: This role demands a dynamic mix of sales acumen and exceptional organizational skills. You will need the confidence to promote Chris as a speaker while being detail-oriented to manage all subsequent follow-ups and logistical tasks efficiently.
Who will be your collaborators?
You will partner closely with Chris to pinpoint ideal opportunities and coordinate with Marisa, Chris’s executive assistant, ensuring that all travel and logistical needs are addressed. Additionally, you will engage with our broader team to align speaking engagements with our strategic vision.
Where will you carry out your role?
Anywhere that inspires you! At PSBLTY, we operate without a physical office. This fully remote position offers you the freedom to work from home, a co-working space, or even a scenic location like your terrace overlooking Machu Picchu during the summer.
Your impact will be measured by three key metrics:
- Booking-to-Engagement Ratio: Aim for a conversion of 8-10 speaking engagements per month, combining webinars, in-person discussions, and corporate training sessions.
- Marketing-Qualified Leads Generated: Ensure Chris is engaging with partner prospects that align perfectly with our business goals.
- Closed Business: Monitor the total sales generated from booked engagements and cultivated marketing-qualified leads.
These metrics will be supported through strategic activities:
- Scout for engagements relentlessly, utilizing your research skills to uncover potential audiences for Chris.
- Secure consistent opportunities by leveraging our effective pitching scripts when reaching out to potential audiences.
- Conduct thorough follow-ups to explore all opportunities and confirm necessary logistics.

What do we require from you?
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the B2B sector.
- A proven track record in forging and closing strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a history of managing intricate tasks.
- Confidence and boldness when pitching high-stakes opportunities.
- A genuine passion for active listening.
- The ability to work autonomously while managing multiple relationships effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and the importance of thorough follow-through.
- A sense of ownership over your results.
- A commitment to using systems and processes to simplify workflows for everyone.
- Ideally, you reside within one of the four North American time zones and are available for work from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend calls required.
