About the Opportunity:
Join us as the driving force behind the narrative of our Falcon platform! As the Director of Product Public Relations, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing CrowdStrike’s visibility and resonance in the market to support our go-to-market strategies and fuel our ambitious growth trajectory. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media Strategy, bringing your expertise in cybersecurity PR to translate intricate technical details into engaging and impactful messaging that speaks to the value our customers derive from the Falcon platform.

You’ll be at the helm of strategizing and executing innovative product public relations initiatives that align with our business goals and resonate with our target audiences.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Craft and implement a results-oriented public relations strategy for the Falcon platform, aligning with our core business objectives and go-to-market plans.
Enhance and elevate CrowdStrike’s platform narrative to clearly express customer value and create competitive differentiation.
Teaming up with the Global Head of Communications and the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media Strategy, you will serve as a critical liaison between technical teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that complex technical aspects are translated into clear, impactful stories showcasing the real-world benefits of our platform.
Oversee all facets of product public relations—from crafting product media profiles to driving thought leadership initiatives and award submissions.
Lead and mentor the product public relations team to achieve measurable and impactful outcomes.
Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media Strategy to equip our domestic and international agencies with comprehensive narratives and resources that drive meaningful results.
Qualifications You Bring:
A proven track record of transforming complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging messaging and earned media that highlights customer value and competitive advantages.
Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to develop persuasive press releases, thought leadership pieces, and narratives that resonate with target markets.
Experience in creating and executing successful media campaigns focused on products that align with business objectives, yielding measurable outcomes.
A proactive mindset, continuously looking for innovative ways to tell our platform story in a distinct and compelling manner.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with product, technical, and marketing teams to unify efforts and generate significant organizational impact.
The capacity to flourish in high-pressure environments, embracing challenges as opportunities to innovate and excel.
A hands-on leadership approach that empowers the product PR team to achieve success while also actively participating in executing tasks.
Additional Experience Needed:
15+ years of proven experience in crafting and executing technically-focused public relations initiatives that drive impactful narratives.
Robust management experience in a rapidly scaling cybersecurity company; agency experience is a valuable asset.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to distill complex, nuanced technical issues into compelling narratives that garner significant media attention.
A current network of media contacts and experience in managing media relationships effectively.
A strong capability to navigate and thrive in dynamic, high-growth organizations.
Adept at staying informed of industry trends, including emerging platforms/media, competitor activities, and key influencers.
