Position Overview

Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental company in North America, is on the lookout for a Foreman. In the role of Pump and Power Foreman, you will oversee successful projects that involve the setup and breakdown of Pump & Power equipment, including bypass pumping, generators for special events, power distribution, heating and cooling, as well as water restoration and disaster response initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead and inspire team members throughout the duration of projects.
– Develop comprehensive project plans and execute them with your crew.
– Delegate tasks effectively to ensure daily objectives are met.
– Act as the representative of Sunbelt in communications with customers and internal teams.
– Manage project timelines and milestones with precision.
– Ensure necessary tools and supplies are maintained for successful project completion.
– Document all project activities including daily notes, labor logs, and progress reports, adhering to project protocols.
– Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and yard during downtimes.
– Aid with deliveries, pickups, and day-to-day operations when not engaged in a project.

Qualifications

– Foundational knowledge of equipment and troubleshooting, particularly pumps, generators, power distribution, heating, and shoring.
– A robust mechanical background, ideally within a similar field.
– Proven leadership abilities with a track record of success.
– Experience in construction environments.
– Exceptional time management skills.
– Basic operation skills with equipment such as forklifts and skid loaders.
– Class A CDL is preferred.
– Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including routinely lifting up to 100 pounds.
– This role demands physical movements such as bending, squatting, reaching, and working in various environments, indoors and outdoors. Compensation

Base Pay Range: $29.19 – $40.13, with mechanics bringing applicable tools earning between $32.00 and $39.00 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience.
