Your success will be driven by a prioritized call list as you engage prospects through phone, video, face-to-face meetings, and cutting-edge digital tools.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional appointment-setting skills by efficiently arranging weekly meetings with key decision-makers.
- Utilize proficient selling techniques to drive results.
- Identify and address the specific needs of prospects, both incremental and programmatic.
- Communicate Staples’ value propositions, product offerings, and categories effectively.
- Overcome objections with confidence and successfully close deals.
- Leverage essential sales tools to prioritize tasks, optimize efficiency, and document customer interactions (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support and category specialists, to advance deals towards successful closure.
- Implement strategies to ensure compliance with new accounts and programs post-sale.
- Apply your expertise regarding the purchasing processes within various industries to aid in product selection and standardization.
- Develop lasting and loyal accounts that continuously engage with Staples.
- Incorporate valuable feedback from prospects into your sales strategy.
- Assist in establishing customer assortments and pricing structures.
- Engage closely with category specialists and support teams for seamless operations.
- Maintain daily communication with prospects, fostering relationships both in person and virtually with professionalism.

Essential Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience or proven success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
- At least 3 years of proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Knowledge of the industry is a plus.
