    As our growth journey continues, we are looking for a dedicated Agricultural Recruiter to join our remote team full-time. In this pivotal role, you will partner with clients to attract top talent for professional and executive roles in the agricultural industry. Your responsibilities will include sourcing passive candidates, conducting interviews, and leading client meetings to facilitate a streamlined hiring process. Our team prides itself on exclusivity, representing our clients under their brand throughout the recruitment journey. As a trusted advisor, you will be instrumental in shaping their workforce and driving organizational success.

    We value candidates with diverse backgrounds in agriculture, horticulture, or food processing, and while prior recruitment experience is not a prerequisite, we provide an extensive internal training program designed to equip you with effective recruitment strategies.

    We offer a competitive base salary along with an uncapped commission structure. Our benefits package includes PPO health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan with a 4% company match, company-paid life insurance, generous paid time off (three weeks), and holiday pay. Our team operates during traditional business hours from Monday to Friday.

    Our ideal candidate possesses:

    • Experience in the agriculture or horticulture sectors, with diverse exposure across multiple areas (crop inputs, sales, agronomy, livestock, animal nutrition, genetics, seed production, ornamentals, and farming).
    • A bachelor’s degree is essential.
    • Proven experience in managing client expectations and adapting to their evolving needs.
    • A strong internal drive and commitment to overcoming challenges.

    In this role, you will:

    • Collaborate closely with clients to fully understand job requirements, company culture, and the necessary competencies, skills, and knowledge.
    • Strategically source candidates by reviewing numerous resumes weekly, leveraging various online tools and resources.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with both candidates and clients, ensuring clear communication and expectations are upheld.
    • Conduct behavioral-based interviews and competency assessments (spending approximately 40% of your time on this), primarily via phone or Microsoft Teams video.
    • Continuously build our internal candidate pipeline.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on labor market dynamics and candidate behavioral trends.
    • Share your ideas and perspectives openly within team projects, as we believe the best solutions originate from internal collaboration.
    • Stay informed about the latest developments in the food and agriculture industry and adapt accordingly.
    • Adhere to recruiting SOPs and maintain an organized applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Work remotely from your home, with minimal travel required—primarily for an annual team meeting.
