As a Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing year-round strategic consultative services, with a focus on the UnitedHealthcare Value Story. By leveraging in-depth analytics of health plan performance, you will solidify UnitedHealth Group’s standing as a trusted advisor and carrier of choice.

Main Responsibilities:
Engage with a dedicated strategic team that supports complex employer groups within Local Markets across a defined geographic area.
Develop compelling, client-specific insights and presentations tailored for diverse client engagements.
Deliver presentations for client engagements as directed by the Strategist, based on client needs, resource availability, and development opportunities.
Concentrate on insights and storytelling, distilling actionable insights from data and reporting.
Utilize data, tools, and resources effectively to narrate a story backed by actionable insights.
Have a detailed understanding of both adopted and proposed client solutions.
Collaborate with market strategic team members to ensure successful outcomes.
Offer constructive feedback to team members to aid in talent assessment, career planning, and growth opportunities.
This role does not involve direct reports.
Work together with the broader Account Management Team (AMTs) and internal partners to address complex customer analytics needs, acting as a strategic analytics expert.
Communicate information clearly and professionally as a consultative subject matter expert.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree.
2+ years in a customer-facing position, ideally in sales, account management, TPA, or consulting.
Strong understanding of healthcare cost and quality topics, with the ability to discuss emerging industry trends.
Intermediate or higher proficiency in Office 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated presentation skills, particularly before director-level audiences and above.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary based on customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in data analytics, data science, statistics, or underwriting.
Exemplary written and verbal communication abilities, including successful virtual presentation experience.

The salary for this position ranges from $71,600 to $140,600 annually, based on full-time employment. Compensation considers various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all applicable minimum wage laws. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, inclusive of incentive programs, equity stock purchase plans, and 401k contributions, all subject to eligibility requirements.
