In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with various responsibilities, including:
- Spearheading the design and development of foundational AI/ML models and algorithms that power vital use cases in the realms of cybersecurity and observability.
- Working hand-in-hand with software engineers, applied scientists, and product managers to seamlessly integrate cutting-edge generative AI technologies into our innovative products and services.
- Keeping abreast of the latest trends and breakthroughs in AI/ML to ensure our technology roadmap is infused with contemporary advancements.
- Engaging actively in cross-disciplinary dialogues and making strategic contributions regarding AI research trajectories and product strategies.
To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline, or a Master’s degree in the same field complemented by 2-3 years of relevant industry experience.
- A track record of experience in training and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Expertise in time series anomaly detection methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge and a solid history in AI/ML technologies, including deep learning, time series modeling, natural language processing, and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Proven proficiency in Generative AI technology and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Demonstrated experience in developing large-scale, intricate models and effectively transitioning them from research into production environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for converting research insights into actionable solutions for real-world issues.
- A comprehensive understanding of machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow and PyTorch) and coding languages prevalent in AI research.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to convey complex technical information to both technical and lay audiences.
- Previous experience in the Cybersecurity or Observability sectors is advantageous.

Compensation Overview
For the competitive San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro regions, the base pay range starts at $146,300.00 per year. For California (excluding the SF Bay Area), Washington (excluding Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts, the base pay range is $131,170.00 per year. For all other locations outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro, and Washington DC Metro, the base pay range begins at $117,040.00 annually.
