POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Associate Director in Specialty Channels, you will adopt a patient-first mindset while steering, evaluating, and enhancing the operations of our Specialty Channel partners (ASOC/AIC/Home Infusion). You will play a pivotal role in nurturing critical relationships with Channel partners and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations that enhance the product lifecycle and elevate the patient experience. Reporting to the Director of Specialty Channel Strategy, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams from Patient Access Solutions, Sales, Marketing, Advanced Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, Market Access Field, and Legal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage strategic account relationships with Channel partners effectively.
- Lead contract negotiations and implementations, including conducting financial ROI analyses.
- Assess Channel partners’ performance to guarantee that targets and contractual obligations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Design, oversee, and execute account-specific strategic plans.
- Oversee daily management of Channel partner initiatives, focusing on reporting enhancements, performance tracking, and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate Channel partners’ compliance with contract terms and conditions, employing metrics tracking such as conversion rates and persistency.
- Work closely with Channel Operations and Advanced Analytics to analyze and assess partner performance against strategic goals.
- Address escalations from strategic partners by devising innovative and cross-functional solutions.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other strategic summits with key partners, ensuring all materials are prepared and performance metrics are communicated clearly.
- Maintain a high standard of ethics and compliance by demonstrating thorough knowledge of relevant laws governing market access and channel management.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 7 years in commercial roles, such as Market Access, Trade and Distribution, Sales, Marketing, or Strategic Account Management.
- Experience with Specialty pharmaceutical products is a must.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Demonstrated project management expertise.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, MHA, or other advanced degrees in business, pharmacy, or related fields.
- 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical Trade Relations with a solid understanding of Trade processes and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with Specialty Infusion Providers or Alternate Sites of Care.
- Experience in Central Nervous System (CNS) or Neurology sectors.
- Background in contract negotiation and budget management.
- Experience with physician-administered specialty pharmaceutical products.
- Advanced training in market access strategies, including product launches and ongoing promotion.
- Experience with drafting and executing payer or trade contracts.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 40%, with the possibility of international travel.
Our compensation package features a national salary range of $180,000 – $200,000, tailored to individual qualifications, skills, and competencies. This position is also eligible for a performance-related bonus of up to 20%, alongside participation in our long-term incentive plan.
