Overview:
Join our dynamic team as you take on the vital role of overseeing the international logistics for Jazz products, ensuring adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and relevant regulations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement innovative supply chain logistics strategies that align with our current and future business objectives.
Lead and drive key projects related to supply chain logistics, which include network development, shipping route design, validation and qualification, temperature-sensitive logistics, introduction of international affiliates, and the launch of new products.
Collaborate with various functions such as Tech Ops, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial to achieve shared supply chain logistics goals.
Ensure swift and compliant product supply and distribution to patients while achieving our overall supply chain business objectives.
Monitor, report, and assess the performance of supply chain logistics partners, crafting improvement plans when necessary.
Foster strong relationships with logistics and distribution partners through structured communications, including in-person meetings when needed.
Oversee logistics operations staff as needed, ensuring effective team management.
Utilize the appropriate systems to meticulously track shipments of intermediate and finished products, ensuring the accuracy of data to support effective supply chain decision-making.
Ensure international trade practices comply with regulations to minimize risks and costs.
Work closely with commercial teams to interpret demand forecasts, facilitating optimal product positioning throughout the distribution supply chain.
Uphold compliance with GDP, trade, financial, customs, and other regulations to guarantee a consistent supply for our patients and meet business requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Logistics Provider Management (Freight Forwarders, Third-Party Logistics, Customs Brokers)
Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure optimal product availability and logistics effectiveness.
Oversee logistics providers, providing guidance and support as required.
Create detailed monthly performance reports to track logistics efficiency.
Coordinate and facilitate performance review meetings with logistics providers to ensure exceptional distribution services that meet the needs of Jazz and our patients.
Act as the primary contact for logistics providers, managing daily relationships.
Track logistics KPIs and performance metrics, offering constructive feedback and escalating issues as necessary.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with logistics providers to enhance collaboration and meet patient expectations.
Manage quality concerns and incidents in cooperation with the quality team and contribute actively to Corrective and Preventive Action Plans.
Additional Support Across Business Functions:
Assist other logistics team members as needed and provide support to the broader Global Supply Chain.
Offer backup support to colleagues in other regions as required.
Adhere to company approval and compliance processes.
Support pre-commercial teams (Clinical, Development) and other functions needing assistance with international goods and material transport.
Be open to some international travel as part of your role.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
In-depth understanding of GDP standards and practices.
Knowledge of import and export regulations and required documentation.
Experience with temperature-controlled shipments in multiple modes of transportation (Air, Ocean, Truck).
Background in the pharmaceutical industry.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Adept at engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Strong analytical abilities to navigate complex scenarios and resolve challenges.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, or a related field.
Strong grounding in international pharmaceutical supply chain logistics, including customs and regulations for temperature-sensitive products.
Demonstrated competencies in areas such as technical knowledge, planning, communication, interpersonal skills, leadership, and sound judgment.
