    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as you provide expert medical reviews for service requests that do not meet utilization review criteria while working from a state or territory within the United States. You will assess appeals for denied services, utilizing your relevant medical expertise in compliance with established appeal policies, if designated to do so.

    Engage in meaningful peer-to-peer discussions with referring physicians to clarify clinical information and convey the rationale behind review decisions. It’s essential to maintain your credentials and promptly inform eviCore of any adverse developments regarding your medical licenses or board certifications. Participate actively in the strategic planning and evaluation of Care Management initiatives to further enhance our services.

    We are seeking a qualified M.D. or D.O. with a valid and active medical license in the U.S., who is board certified in Surgery – Orthopedics by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of clinical experience post-residency or fellowship, with recent hands-on patient care experience within the last 18 months. Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations, URAC, and NCQA standards is advantageous, alongside a familiarity with automated systems and computer applications.
