    Join our dynamic team where you’ll play a pivotal role in providing expert medical reviews to assess the necessity of services that may not align with established utilization review criteria, while working within any U.S. state or territory. You’ll evaluate appeals for denied services leveraging your current medical expertise and collaborate with referring physicians through timely peer-to-peer discussions to clarify clinical information and articulate review outcomes.

    Your ongoing professional development is crucial, so you will be required to maintain your credentials and promptly notify eviCore of any adverse actions related to your medical licenses and board certifications. You will also have the opportunity to participate in strategic planning and evaluation processes within our Care Management department.

    We are seeking candidates who hold a current, active U.S. state medical license and are board-certified in Cardiology by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Recent experience in direct patient care within the last 18 months is essential, as is a minimum of five years of clinical experience post-residency or fellowship. Familiarity with state and federal regulations, URAC and NCQA standards will be beneficial, as well as the ability to navigate automated processes and computer applications.
