Job Description
Are you passionate about PHP and eager to contribute to some of the most impactful enterprise-level web projects in the UK?
If you seek a role that prioritizes your growth from day one and fosters a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement, you’ve just found your ideal opportunity.
Join a dynamic national brand at a thrilling juncture in their development. This well-established business boasts a robust IT team and works in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is crucial. It’s essential that you flourish in a setting that embraces change and operates with a “fail fast” mentality—constantly pursuing innovative solutions and improved methodologies. This is an incredible chance for you to make a significant impact!
You’ll be joining a large, Agile team composed of some of the UK’s top PHP Engineers, with numerous exciting projects on the horizon. We’re on the lookout for multiple skilled Engineers to elevate this team.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to write clean, efficient object-oriented PHP code, with experience in PHP7 or PHP8 frameworks. While Symfony (versions 4/5) is the preferred framework, we welcome candidates with proficiency in other MVC frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP. Additionally, familiarity with MySQL v8 will be advantageous.
A full-stack mindset is essential, so a solid grasp of front-end technologies—especially JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ideally TypeScript—is important as well.
This is your opportunity to collaborate with some of the most skilled PHP Engineers and tech experts in the UK. Our focus is not solely on the depth of your past experience but rather on your attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to best practices. We’re looking for developers who stay updated with the latest technological advancements and contribute fresh ideas. In this environment, your opinions will be valued and heard.
One of the standout features of this organization is its commitment to investing in its people. From day one, you’ll receive a personalized development plan and engage in quarterly reviews with your hiring manager to discuss your professional growth and opportunities for advancement.
Learning is a top priority—benefiting from their dedicated IT training team and an extensive library of online resources covering various technology topics!
We’re hiring across all experience levels, with competitive salaries ranging from £30,000 to £45,000, plus a generous bonus structure and outstanding benefits. Enjoy the flexibility of remote work with occasional visits to the HQ for meetings and team kick-offs.
