Job Description
Join an innovative NHS team within the iCaSH service (Integrated Contraception and Sexual Health) as a Clinical Pharmacist. This role provides the flexibility of fully remote work or the choice to be situated at various locations across the East of England.
In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medications throughout a variety of NHS sexual health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and review of Patient Group Directions (PGDs).
- Conduct comprehensive medicines audits and contribute to governance activities.
- Provide essential clinical and pharmaceutical guidance to frontline teams.
- Advocate for cost-effective prescribing practices and oversee medication utilization.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Immediate availability
- Contract Duration: 6-9 months
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with flexible working options)
- Work Location: Primarily remote
