This role offers a fully remote working environment; however, ideal candidates must be licensed and reside in Arizona due to necessary in-person meetings with health insurance brokers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following summarizes the core responsibilities associated with this role. Additional minor tasks may also be required, with specific activities subject to change over time.
Recruit and onboard new agents at CRC Benefits, showcasing our exceptional offerings through trusted collaborations bolstered by the best industry technology.
Partner with agents and brokers to formulate strategies for revenue growth, emphasizing heightened sales activities, expanded product offerings, and deepening awareness of CRC Benefits’ specialized services.
Contribute effectively within a team sales dynamic, coordinating necessary sales and retention actions for a streamlined and trusted benefits-selling experience.
Guide the team (POD) to support agents’ and brokers’ businesses, inspiring them to enhance their client relationships by:
Educating and training agents on carrier administrative protocols, product availability, and the value propositions offered to clients.
Conducting strategy calls with the team to address priority issues, quote volumes, and renewal processes as required.
Utilize internal tools (Salesforce, Zoom, etc.) for tracking activities and performance metrics.
Market effectively to agents and brokers, motivating them to direct their clients’ business to us by:
Orchestrating in-field sales and retention efforts aimed at closing sales, renewing cases, and upgrading products for existing customers. Deliver timely sales expertise to amplify outcomes.
Shape strategies with select agencies to encourage technology adoption, ensuring the removal of manual processes and secure, electronic data transfer.
Collaborate with partner carriers as necessary to achieve optimal results.
Maintain confidentiality as per CRC Benefits standards.
Be prepared for occasional extended hours during peak periods.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications are essential for success in this role. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
A valid Life & Health Insurance License is mandatory.
A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a health insurance or employee benefits sales role is necessary.
Thorough understanding of group insurance products, ideally gained through experience in insurance marketing or sales with a health insurance carrier or broker.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange; adept with web browsers, especially Google Chrome.
Comprehensive Benefits Package for Eligible Employees of CRC Group: All regular employees working 20 or more hours weekly qualify for benefits, although specific eligibility may vary by division. CRC Group offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401(k) plan. Employees enjoy at least 10 days of vacation (pro-rated according to hire date and status) in the first year, alongside 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.
