We are currently seeking a meticulous and team-oriented Treasury Asset and Liability Manager (ALM) to enhance the efficiency of our Treasury’s balance sheet management and reporting functions. This pivotal position will collaborate closely with our Treasury, Finance, and Risk departments.

Role Overview:

The Treasury Asset and Liability Manager will be tasked with developing and implementing essential methodologies, policies, and procedures. This includes configuring our Asset Liability Management system (MORS) to optimize Balance Sheet Management, establishing a seamless and transparent Funds Transfer Pricing platform to evaluate product risk and profitability through the lenses of Liquidity, Funding, and Interest Rate risks.

Your contributions will directly influence the ICAAP and ILAAP processes, reflecting on behavioral analysis and limit establishments.

• Monitoring and reporting performance metrics to governance committees and forums
• Supporting the development of ALM policies and procedures, along with ensuring robust control oversight
• Maintaining accurate visibility of the impacts of balance sheet and off-balance sheet products on IRRBB and Liquidity metrics
• Collaborating with the broader Finance team on Bank Profitability initiatives
• Overseeing the configuration of the ALM system to align with operational needs
• Ensuring that policy and procedure documentation meets all regulatory requirements
• Managing and reporting liquidity, funding, and IRRBB metrics punctually
• Driving innovation to enhance the liquidity management framework and risk management processes for optimal effectiveness
• Encouraging positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders
• Contributing to stress testing activities related to Interest Rate risk, Liquidity, Funding risk, and CSRBB measurements
• Gaining insights into Treasury processes and risk management functions.
• Demonstrating experience in Treasury modeling and methodologies.
• Exhibiting strategic thinking and planning abilities to formulate and execute business strategies.
• Having familiarity with the ALM system and necessary configurations.
• Showcasing leadership qualities with the capacity to spearhead Treasury initiatives.
• Possessing a deep understanding of risks associated with various banking book products.
• Bringing proven experience from a regulated financial institution or retail banking environment.
• Displaying strong awareness of the broader business, economic, and regulatory contexts.
• Mastering facilitation skills to evaluate needs and perspectives from product owners and senior management regarding product profitability.
• Excelling in relationship-building, demonstrating the ability to listen, influence, present, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
