    Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager in East Anglia, where you can work remotely with the flexibility of office collaboration. This position offers an attractive salary ranging from £60K to £80K, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.

    We are on the lookout for an accomplished business development professional seeking an exhilarating opportunity with a leading Managing General Agent (MGA). Perfect candidates will be based in the East Anglia region, benefiting from a blend of home and office working, with our Head Office situated in London. You will manage an existing portfolio of insurance intermediaries, focusing on client retention, while also emphasizing the necessity to cultivate new business relationships through our panel of key brokers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to re-engage underperforming broker partners in need of revitalization.

    This role is ideal for a sales-driven individual, and it’s a bonus if you already have established broker connections in the region that can be leveraged, though this is not a strict requirement.

    To be considered, you should possess prior experience in commercial insurance, whether from an insurance company or a broking background—or ideally both. You must be comfortable thriving in a sales environment and meeting targets established by management.

    In this role, your responsibilities will include:

    • Generating new business leads and managing quotes and conversions across all products to meet strategic targets.
    • Driving growth and client retention in alignment with company goals.
    • Proactively managing the renewal book and associated cases, formulating effective approaches.
    • Cultivating a thorough understanding of key clients and their needs to ensure business retention.
    • Collaborating with internal departments to meet customer demands and effectively communicate requirements throughout the organization.
    • Analyzing and compiling business data to gain insight into each customer and our overall broker panel.
    • Ensuring quality in client visits, maintaining a schedule for regular check-ins, and accurate reporting.
    • Developing robust relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with clients.
