Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled C# / API Developer for a 3-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the chance to work from anywhere.

Compensation: The role offers a competitive daily rate of £500 (Inside IR35).

Technical Expertise: The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proficiency in C# and experience with .NET, .NET Core, and .NET Framework
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating REST APIs
• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries for SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Capability to create detailed technical specifications and comprehensive test plans
• Technical support experience for web, desktop, or mobile applications including upgrades, configurations, and debugging
• Familiarity with popular web application frameworks
• A proactive approach to exploring and adopting new and emerging technologies

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will:

• Demonstrate your ability to work autonomously or collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, maintaining meticulous attention to detail while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Engage regularly with business stakeholders and management to understand their needs
• Analyze business requirements and deftly convert them into functional specifications
• Exhibit analytical thinking and take ownership of issues throughout the development process
• Bring a minimum of three years of software development experience
• Construct robust business logic for applications
• Maintain a strong awareness of information and data security practices
• Communicate effectively, ensuring clear and concise information exchange
• Document design processes, specifications, and records as necessary
• Conduct fault finding, manage version control, and execute configuration control and implementation reviews
• Plan and deliver software platforms that serve multiple products and organizational units
• Possess a deep understanding of fundamental design principles essential for building scalable applications
• Integrate data seamlessly from diverse back-end services and databases
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed by management
