    Join our dedicated team and make a positive impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families by providing essential mental health services. You will engage in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and deliver therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group modalities for our outpatient clients. Collaborating closely with a child psychiatrist and a multidisciplinary health professional team, you’ll play a crucial role in crafting and guiding tailored treatment plans for each client.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting thorough evaluations and delivering effective therapeutic interventions for children (under 12), adolescents (ages 13-18), and their families seeking mental health support.
    • Performing in-depth assessments that involve comprehensive formulation, differential diagnosis, treatment planning, and safety considerations.
    • Utilizing evidence-based methods to implement intervention and management strategies across individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
    • Fostering open communication with parents, collateral contacts, external agencies, school systems, and other providers regarding treatment strategies.
    • Collaborating with child psychiatrists to monitor patient progress and consulting with attending physicians for hospitalized cases.
    • Documenting clinical services and related interactions promptly and accurately to maintain high standards of care.
    • Working with medical professionals about patient’s symptoms, treatment plans, responses to interventions, and recommendations for ongoing treatment.

    To qualify for this rewarding position, you’ll need:

    Experience:

    • At least two years of post-master’s practice experience under appropriate supervision in applied psychotherapy, with a focus on pediatrics (ages 0-18) within the last five years. Alternatively, a minimum of one year in post-doctoral practice experience under supervision in applied psychotherapy with a majority pediatric population within the same time frame is acceptable.

    Education:

    • A master’s degree is required (M.S.W., M.S., M.A., M.Ed.).

    Licensing Requirements:

    • Credentials from multiple states are necessary. You must possess your primary work state’s credentials at the time of hire, with additional state credentials needed post-hire. This includes:
      • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Oregon) and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Washington) within six months of hire, OR
      • Mental Health Counselor License (Washington) and Professional Counselor License (Oregon) within six months of hire, OR
      • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Washington) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Oregon) within six months of hire, OR
      • Psychologist License (Oregon) and Psychologist License (Washington) within six months of hire.
    • You will need a National Provider Identifier upon hire.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Exposure to child and adolescent intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization, or residential settings, especially with group evidence-based treatments like DBT and Mindfulness.
    • Familiarity with electronic medical records documentation.
    • Training/experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family therapy, parent management training, or Collaborative Problem Solving is beneficial.
    • Specialized training in Autism Spectrum Disorder interventions is a plus.
    • A strong emphasis on child, adolescent, and family dynamics, along with knowledge in emotional, cognitive, and social development.
    • Advanced degrees such as LCSW, PsyD, or PhD are preferred.

    You’ll find your work setting at our Keizer Station Medical Offices in Oregon, working full-time from Monday to Friday, with shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM.
