Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a passionate and driven Associate Attorney to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in delivering impactful legal services while managing a diverse caseload. As a member of our team, you will tackle challenging legal issues in a dynamic work environment and have ample opportunity for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert legal guidance across a variety of matters, encompassing commercial and insurance litigation.
- Manage and litigate complex bodily injury and wrongful death cases.
- Engage in depositions, mediations, and court trials as necessary.
- Craft, review, and refine legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to formulate effective case strategies.
- Remain updated on relevant legislation and regulations that may impact our clients.
- Foster strong client relationships, providing clear explanations of legal options and addressing any questions regarding their cases.
- Depending on your expertise and interests, you may also handle construction defect cases.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona, Utah, or New Mexico (relocation not required).
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 4 years of legal experience is essential.
- Solid background in providing legal advice, assistance, and litigating commercial and insurance cases.
- Experience with complex bodily/personal injury and wrongful death litigation is a must.
- Familiarity with construction defect matters is advantageous but not necessary.
- Trial experience is a plus, though it is not mandatory.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in legal research and documentation.
