    Competitive Salary Range: £30,000 – £50,000 (Negotiable for Exceptional Candidates)

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in an autonomous work environment while effectively managing deadlines and objectives.     What We’re Looking For:

    • A proven track record in a Costs Drafting position (essential)
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Capacity to work independently and handle an individual caseload.
    • Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
    • Familiarity with Proclaim and Costs Master is a plus (but not required).

    Your Role Will Involve:

    • Drafting comprehensive bills of costs across various case types including personal injury (PI) claims, industrial disease claims, commercial disputes, clinical negligence claims, and credit claims.
    • Creating detailed schedules of costs and statements for trial scenarios.
    • Offering costs advice to clients through both written communication and phone consultations regarding settlement recovery or specific technical queries.
    • Drafting and negotiating Costs Budgets while preparing for CCMC hearings.
    • Participating in CCMC/CMC hearings to advocate regarding Costs Budgets and relevant directives.
    • Regularly assessing case files and managing assignments within Proclaim for efficient case progression.
    • Achieving set performance metrics, including daily chargeable hours and annual billing goals.
