Your key responsibilities
As a Credit Controller, you will report directly to the Debt Recovery Supervisor. Your primary role will be to efficiently manage and pursue company debts through extensive communication with both internal and external clients. Your efforts will be focused on keeping the debt collection process proactive and ensuring that outstanding debts are addressed until they are fully resolved.

  • Engage in a high volume of phone calls and emails to diligently follow up on debts while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders regarding their outstanding debts.
  • Collaborate frequently with various teams within the Finance department to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Achieve collection goals to meet cash collection targets and diminish aging receivables.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the system by keeping up-to-date notes and maintaining high-quality usage standards.

  • Exceptional organizational abilities and the capability to thrive under pressure while meeting challenging targets.
  • A self-starter with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, complemented by strong communication and numerical proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with familiarity in using pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience with bad debt management is a plus, though not mandatory.
