Join our dynamic team as a Data Entry Specialist in a fully remote position, where flexibility meets opportunity! With working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM PST, you’ll have the perfect work-life balance while contributing to our mission.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Collecting, organizing, and preparing source documents for seamless entry into our designated database.
- Conducting thorough reviews of data to identify any discrepancies or missing information, and efficiently resolving issues in alignment with standard procedures.
- Accurately entering both alphabetical and numerical data from source documents into our system, ensuring excellence at every step.
- Verifying the accuracy of entered data against original documents and making necessary corrections to maintain data integrity.
- Adhering to strict security practices and procedures to safeguard our data.
- Conducting daily database backups to ensure the security of information.
- Performing additional clerical tasks such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as needed.
- Upholding confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations for all personal and financial information.
- Embracing a variety of other responsibilities as assigned.
To succeed in this role, we seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience, or a combination of training and experience.
- Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Tech-savviness and a keen attention to detail are essential.
Additional qualifications include:
- Proficiency with computers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, and telephones.
- Familiarity with various software programs, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and internet applications.
- Typing skills of at least 40 words per minute.
- A keen eye for accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills, enabling you to convey information effectively and clarify misunderstandings when needed.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment.
