About the Role
In this pivotal role, the QA Data Analyst will establish and uphold the standards, processes, and tools that define the project’s data quality parameters. You will be tasked with ensuring that all asset data remains complete, accurate, consistent, and adheres to the project’s designated taxonomy. Your contributions will be fundamental in shaping Moston’s data management framework, enhancing the quality and reliability of our project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Governance:
- Champion data quality standards, policies, and practices.
- Work closely with the asset technical team to define data standards and key metrics for optimal data quality in each project.
- Provide weekly updates on progress and offer detailed feedback on surveyor output and data quality.
- Monitor adherence to data quality standards, validation rules, and exception reporting, identifying duplicates, missing assets, and inconsistencies.
- Promote continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements, new technology tools, and automation opportunities.
- Communicate findings related to data quality, metrics, and improvement initiatives to the broader asset management team.
- Act as a knowledge resource, advising team members on structuring, maintaining, and governing asset data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data regulations, privacy legislation, and corporate policies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes, standards, and improvements for auditing and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in data quality, governance, or management roles within the FM, Property, or Construction sectors.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing data quality frameworks.
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of asset data collection software and quality assurance tools (e.g., Mobiess, Asseticom).
- High proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel and BI dashboards.
- Understanding of Mechanical & Electrical assets, parent-child relationships, and industry standards such as CIBSE, SFG20, SPONS, etc.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex technical info into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
