Your Role
As a Data Analyst, you will enhance HR and business functions by analyzing workforce data, uncovering trends, and offering actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with data engineers and analytics teams to build and maintain people analytics tools, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.
- Engage with senior People stakeholders to ascertain their data requirements and produce insights that drive informed strategic decisions.
- Design and create comprehensive people analytics dashboards in Looker, providing both high-visibility curated reports and flexible self-service options.
- Ensure data quality across HR systems through validation processes and by establishing governing data standards.
- Define and standardize key People metrics such as attrition, engagement, and candidate pipelines, ensuring consistency in reporting.
- Collaborate with analytics engineering to develop and refine dbt model infrastructure, optimizing data workflows for greater efficiency.
- Support data science projects by contributing to predictive models and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Lead data enhancement efforts within HR tools, ensuring HRBPs and stakeholders have access to relevant insights seamlessly.
- Conduct regular analysis of workforce trends, focusing on employee engagement, performance metrics, and recruitment funnel metrics.
- Drive workforce planning initiatives by analyzing historical data and formulating predictive models for future staffing requirements.
- Develop and implement data collection methodologies to accurately capture important HR metrics from various sources.
- Create and maintain documentation for reporting procedures, metrics definitions, and data models.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Human Resources, Business)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an HR setting.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with HR data and metrics is a plus.
