Job Description

Join an innovative AI scale-up that empowers developers to effortlessly build and deploy cloud applications using cutting-edge AI technology. We are on the lookout for a passionate Developer Relations Engineer to become a vital part of our expanding team in a fully remote setting.

In this dynamic role, you will serve as the essential link between our dedicated team and the vibrant developer community. You’ll leverage your software engineering skills alongside your advocacy for developers to significantly enhance both our product and the community experience. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the developer journey as you create impactful technical content, develop sample applications, and engage meaningfully with our growing audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting Technical Content: Produce insightful blog posts, create sample applications, and develop comprehensive tutorials that highlight our platform’s capabilities and best practices.
  • Engaging with the Community: Immerse yourself in technical discussions, offer support within our Discord community, and represent our brand at developer events.
  • Enhancing Developer Experience: Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to refine our documentation, SDKs, and tools catered to developers.
  • Building Sample Projects: Design and maintain exemplary applications that effectively showcase our features and integration possibilities.
  • Delivering Technical Education: Organize and lead technical workshops, webinars, and live coding sessions to educate and inspire our audience.
  • Collecting Product Feedback: Gather insights from the community to inform our product development roadmap, ensuring we meet the needs of our users.
  • Contributing to Open Source: Engage with open source projects and help manage our public repositories, fostering a spirit of collaboration and innovation.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a robust software engineering background, boasting 3+ years of professional development experience and familiarity with AWS. While experience with Rust is a plus, we welcome candidates eager to learn. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of crafting clear, engaging technical content—such as blog posts, tutorials, and documentation—and will have actively participated in developer communities and open source initiatives. An established presence in technical circles and experience in public speaking or working within a small startup will be advantageous.
