In alignment with our group’s policies and procedures, the Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing project execution from inception through to the end of the guarantee period. This encompasses all facets including contractual obligations, financial oversight, relationship management, technical direction, and project planning, ensuring that we meet our project goals successfully.
This role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work, with candidates required to reside in the US or Canada.
We seek a candidate with substantial experience in high-level planning, developing, implementing, and managing complex Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects, while adhering to time and budget constraints. You should have a robust background in Scope Management, Conflict Resolution, Risk Management, and applying Project Management expertise to accomplish both short-term and long-term projects. Your capability to evaluate client needs and effectively communicate with all stakeholders will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and organize the means for contract execution.
- Lead the project team, ensuring that each member understands the project’s challenges and their specific roles and responsibilities.
- Cultivate relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to fulfill contract requirements.
- Promptly report any significant impacts on the project.
- Set project objectives, develop work plans, and establish budgets for costs and revenues.
- Monitor and control the detailed project budget and schedule, issuing periodic internal progress reports.
- Manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle project changes and claims management effectively.
- Actively engage in technical meetings.
- Collaborate with technical experts to address issues and mitigate risks.
- Anticipate and discuss critical topics with discipline engineers.
- Validate, follow up on, and update action plans as necessary.
- Coordinate materials and project planning with manufacturing facilities.
- Work closely with PSI leadership to maintain project schedules in manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in project engineering and management focused on capital equipment contracts.
- Proven experience with EP and EPC projects across domestic and international industrial sectors, including oil and gas, power, and chemicals.
- Experience in the Water or Wastewater Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- P. Eng. Certification and PMP Certification are advantageous but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Suite, MS Project, AUTO-CAD, Primavera P6, and SAP.
- Experience in EP and EPC projects in challenging domestic and international environments, particularly in the industrial markets of oil and gas, power, and chemicals.
