    As part of our Data Analytics & Decision Support department within the Division of Enrollment, this position is crucial in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the university’s data, which supports essential decision-making processes across the institution.

    Qualifications:

    Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Management Information Systems. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in data analysis or related research, demonstrating proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, STATA, or equivalent. Experience in a higher education setting is advantageous, though candidates with a suitable combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

    Key Responsibilities:

    In this role, you will actively:

    • Gather, assemble, edit, and analyze data from diverse sources to generate insightful statistical reports related to university functions.
    • Create visually engaging reports featuring charts, graphs, and tables to effectively communicate analytical findings.
    • Assist in identifying data requirements for various departments and contribute to the development of efficient reporting methodologies.
    • Ensure data integrity through accuracy checks, computations, and thorough proofreading of reports.
    • Engage in collaborative meetings with both internal and external stakeholders as required.
    • Perform other related tasks as necessary to support the department’s goals.

    Additional Information:

    Success in this role requires adherence to established policies, the ability to identify solutions independently, and effective collaboration across university departments. Candidates should be skilled in statistical software (e.g., SPSS), and be proficient in spreadsheet, word processing, and graphic tools. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is a plus.

    The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and approach repetitive tasks and new projects independently. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
