Job Description
- Territory: Covering Northern Manchester, M62 Leeds, and the broader Northern Area of the UK.
- Reporting To: Service Department Manager
- Holiday: Enjoy 25 days of vacation per full calendar year, which increases with tenure, plus public holidays.
- Develop an in-depth technical understanding of our extensive product lineup and their servicing requirements, ensuring compliance with the latest British Standards and completing all necessary digital service documentation.
- Travel nationally—primarily in Northern England and Scotland—to represent Monmouth in a professional, polished, and courteous manner, engaging directly with our clients.
- Deliver, set up, install, service, and maintain a diverse range of laboratory equipment and clean areas at customer locations.
- Provide customer support and training throughout the delivery, commissioning, and installation processes of new products.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints when in the field, while also reporting on customer satisfaction as necessary.
- Participate in continuous training on product and application, both internally and externally, to enhance your expertise and remain abreast of the latest industry developments.
- Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as needed to support company goals.
- Maintain adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures as mandated by the company.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent logical problem-solving capabilities complemented by a practical mindset.
- A high level of personal accountability, demonstrating a driven work ethic and willingness to take responsibility.
- Ability to follow established processes and quality standards in accordance with company protocols.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt and re-prioritize tasks in response to a dynamic delivery schedule.
- Calm under pressure, capable of making effective decisions and meeting tight deadlines.
- Personable with strong communication and listening skills, enabling confident interaction with colleagues and clients at all levels.
- Diplomatic and tactful demeanor on-site, skilled in handling multiple customer queries simultaneously.
- At least a GCSE (or equivalent) Grade “C” in English Language and Mathematics.
- Essential – Relevant service and installation experience in industry, particularly with bio-cabinets, D.O.P., and KI Testing.
- Essential – Hold a valid CSCS Card and pass DBS checks for various sectors, including MOD, Home Office, Nuclear, Schools, and Colleges.
- Desirable – Proficiency in electrical fault-finding skills (17th/18th Edition qualification preferred).
