Join a Dynamic Team as a Finance Project Manager in an Exciting Remote Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Finance Project Manager to join a reputable Professional Services firm based in Crawley, West Sussex. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, requiring office presence approximately two days a week. This role is initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with robust stakeholder management abilities, are vital to this role. Experience in steering significant business change programs, particularly in Finance, within large enterprises is essential.

Your role will revolve around managing stakeholders effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating an ability to maximize results within tight time constraints. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who is highly motivated and possesses excellent soft skills alongside technical know-how. A minimum of three years of experience in delivering impactful projects is required. Please note, this is not purely an IT-focused position, although a basic understanding of technical projects would be an asset.

We are particularly interested in candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Experience in Professional Services or a closely related industry.
  • A solid background in Business Change, Strategic Change, and a strong impact on financial aspects, with the capacity to engage with senior business stakeholders.
  • A clear understanding that this role is business-facing with occasional technology involvement, focusing on operational processes and business change.
  • Expertise in managing C-Suite level stakeholders, emphasizing business-related interactions over technology.
  • Proven experience engaging with busy business stakeholders and fee earners.
  • A comprehension of the complexities of firm-wide programs and business change management.
  • Demonstrated experience throughout a full project lifecycle, managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Skills in analyzing values and initiatives to assign appropriate resources, clearly understanding the significance of change.
  • Ability to clearly articulate your contributions, using “I” statements to highlight your responsibilities and impacts.
  • Strong clarity in communicating situations, outcomes, and analytical techniques, including mapping out plans, conducting cost analysis, and performing SWOT analysis.
  • An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Future leadership potential to mentor junior team members, including Project Managers and Business Analysts.
  • A high-energy, driven, and enthusiastic demeanor is essential.
