The firm has recently embarked on an exciting journey by launching a wealth planning division, aimed at delivering comprehensive pre- and post-retirement guidance. Our areas of expertise include lifetime allowance planning, tax-efficient retirement strategies, and estate planning, with the added benefit of a flexible 4-day in-office schedule.
KEY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Your main role will be to deliver exceptional paraplanning support to the Head of Wealth Planning and our dynamic Wealth Planning team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze client data to craft advice that aligns with their individual goals.
- Utilize cashflow modeling tools proficiently in your analyses.
- Prepare thorough suitability and recommendation reports.
- Generate fund switch and withdrawal letters along with all necessary research and documentation.
- Interpret and leverage information from clients and providers using industry-standard tools.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Engage with clients to gather pertinent information and schedule meetings.
- Reach out to third-party providers to address technical inquiries.
- Conduct research to assist advisers as necessary.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- In-depth technical expertise in financial planning, pensions, and investments, with a preference for experience in complex client cases.
- A minimum of 5 years in the financial services sector.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Voyant and FE Analytics.
- Must be proactive, adaptable, and open to constructive feedback.
- Ambitious and dedicated to continuous personal development.
- Strong aptitude for financial concepts and mathematics.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a Chartered Financial Planner designation (or equivalent), or actively pursuing this qualification.
