As a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a crucial role in the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder by designing and implementing personalized treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs. Your expertise will shine as you conduct thorough assessments and craft individualized plans that focus on promoting positive behavior and enhancing skill development.
In this dynamic position, you will apply evidence-based interventions to effectively address challenging behaviors and foster a rewarding growth environment for your clients. Your leadership skills will be utilized as you provide ongoing guidance and training to behavior technicians and your multidisciplinary team. By collaborating with families, educators, and additional professionals, you will ensure that the skills developed in therapy can be generalized across various settings.
Monitoring client progress will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you will make informed, data-driven decisions to adjust treatment plans as necessary. You will maintain comprehensive documentation that accurately reflects client progress and treatment objectives, showcasing your attention to detail.
To thrive in this role, you should possess a robust background in supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder, along with extensive knowledge of special education laws and applied behavior analysis principles. Familiarity with medical terminology related to autism and behavioral health, coupled with hands-on experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations, will further enhance your effectiveness in this position. Your strong communication skills will allow you to engage with clients, their families, and your fellow team members effortlessly, while your exceptional organizational abilities will ensure efficient management of caseloads and documentation.
To qualify for this position, you must hold a Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and have at least one year of experience working with children who have autism or similar developmental disabilities. A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with your experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), a retirement savings plan, paid time off for holidays and vacations, and more.
