    We are on the lookout for talented female freelance interpreters fluent in Hebrew to join our dynamic team on a self-employed basis. Your expertise will be integral in fulfilling the diverse needs of our valued clients.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Providing expert language interpreting services across various contexts
    • Upholding our rigorous Code of Conduct
    • Delivering accurate, confidential, and impartial interpreting
    • Maintaining the highest quality standards by following best practices
    • Ensuring exceptional customer service in all interactions
    • Exhibiting strong communication, language, and organizational skills
    • Demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and professionalism
    • Remaining fair and unbiased while showing respect to clients and service users
    • Having a profound understanding of the cultures represented by both languages
    • Maintaining a professional demeanor throughout all assignments

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

    • At least 2 years of interpreting experience
    • Community Interpreting Level 3 Certificate or equivalent
    • Diploma in Police Interpreting (DPI) or successful completion of the Metropolitan Police Test
    • Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
    • Relevant qualifications in interpreting or translation
    • Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Languages, Translation, Interpretation, Philology, Linguistics, or related fields
    • Doctoral degree in Languages, Philology, Linguistics, or related disciplines
    • Certificate of Higher Education in Translation, Interpretation, Languages, Philology, or Linguistics
    • Membership in the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI)
    • Qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL)
    • Affiliation with the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) or other professional organizations
    • Proficiency in English, as applicable

    Additionally, candidates must provide:

    • Confirmation of eligibility to work in the UK
    • A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)
    • Two professional references
