STG International is on the lookout for a board-certified Infectious Disease physician to join our team in providing expert medical review and consultation services to the Department of Labor (DOL) concerning various workers’ compensation cases. This opportunity allows physicians to engage with cases individually, with compensation provided on an hourly basis for the time dedicated to these reviews.

As this role is completely remote, work can be conducted from the comfort of your home or any FOH office, utilizing email and internet resources. We prefer that candidates operate as 1099 contractors and maintain their own malpractice insurance. Please note that this position does not involve a high case volume, ensuring a balanced workload.

To be considered for this role, candidates must satisfy the following minimum qualifications and requirements, as outlined by the DOL and FOH:

1. Possession of a current, unrestricted medical license in any state.
2. Completion of fellowship training along with Board Certification in Infectious Disease.
3. A minimum of two years of clinical practice experience, with the requirement to see patients for at least 240 hours annually.
4. A thorough understanding of federal safety and health regulations, coupled with experience in reviewing workers’ compensation cases. Familiarity with federal workers’ compensation requirements is highly desirable.
