We are on the lookout for a dedicated and proficient Insurance Defense Attorney to become a vital part of our innovative legal team. This is an exciting fully remote opportunity tailored for candidates who are licensed to practice law in California and currently reside in the state. If you possess 1 to 9 years of experience in insurance defense, particularly in areas such as personal injury, property damage, and general liability, we encourage you to apply.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense issues, focusing on personal injury, property damage, and general liability claims.
- Perform comprehensive legal research and expertly draft essential legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
- Represent clients during court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Offer insightful legal counsel and keep clients and insurance carriers informed with strategic updates.
- Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal professionals to devise effective case strategies.
- Organize and maintain case files while managing deadlines and adhering to court compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A valid license to practice law in California.
- Must be a California resident capable of working remotely on a full-time basis.
- Between 1 to 9 years of experience in insurance defense or relevant litigation fields.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Previous experience with depositions, court appearances, and trials is advantageous.
- An independent work ethic, with the ability to handle multiple cases in a remote setting.
