As part of the fraud site defense team, you’ll be at the frontline of our security initiatives on our web platform, facing sophisticated hacking attempts on a daily basis. Your expertise will be pivotal in uncovering and analyzing exploits, vulnerabilities, and automation tools that pose risks.

In this impactful position, you’ll engineer and implement state-of-the-art anti-tamper and anti-cheat systems for our website, ensuring that our companion apps benefit from additional layers of security. Your focus will be on maintaining data integrity while delivering innovative client-side hardening strategies.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm in JavaScript security, including threat modeling, anti-bot development, and robust obfuscation strategies.
• Proficient in architecting and implementing sophisticated security features and resilient defense mechanisms.
• Comprehensive understanding of low-level systems programming.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization and bytecode interpretation.
• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript for developing secure, high-performance web applications.
• Expertise in web development with familiarity in native app security for seamless cross-platform integration.
• Solid understanding of cryptography, encryption algorithms, and best practices in secure key management.
• A passion for identifying vulnerabilities and a proactive stance in staying ahead of cybersecurity threats.
• A proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, transforming complex security challenges into actionable solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and reverse engineer exploits, vulnerabilities, and cheating strategies to develop effective countermeasures.
• Design and implement cutting-edge anti-tamper and anti-cheat systems across the company’s web platform.
• Develop robust detection and prevention systems to identify and block unauthorized automation, such as bots and scripts, protecting the integrity of user interactions.
• Ensure data integrity on the website by implementing measures that prevent spoofing and tampering.
• Innovate new techniques from memory protection to code obfuscation to anticipate and mitigate potential exploits.
• Continuously monitor and analyze emerging threats and hacker behaviors to adapt and refine security strategies.
• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of proactive security awareness.
• Create and maintain tools and scripts for real-time detection and response to suspicious activities.
