In the role of Sales Consultant within the K-12 sector, you will regularly travel throughout your assigned territory to engage with both current and prospective clients. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct face-to-face consultations with faculty, curriculum leaders, and administrators, while also formulating and executing strategic plans to meet your sales objectives.
Key Qualifications and Skills Required:
Engage with school districts through sales calls to explore and showcase our textbook and digital product solutions.
Achieve or surpass annual sales targets consistently.
Drive business growth and new initiatives within your territory.
Utilize company sales tools for accurate forecasts and activity tracking.
Participate in networking opportunities within your territory, including but not limited to conferences, group presentations, and industry events.
Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree or a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
Exceptional verbal, written, and electronic communication abilities.
Capability to develop and implement targeted sales solutions.
Strong relationship-building skills with customers, internal partners, and colleagues. Well-organized with effective territory management skills.
Proficiency in business technologies, including PCs, mobile devices, CRM tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
Physical ability to transport materials to customer locations, including lifting up to 50 lbs independently and moving up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in teaching, sales, or publishing.
Understanding of, and experience in, digital information delivery sales.
Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.

The full base salary range for this position is provided, with individuals’ compensation varying based on their work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Roles in sales typically include a significant incentive compensation program beyond the base pay range.
$60,000.00 – $75,000.00 USD
