Job Description
Join our team as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a competitive salary ranging from $62K to $80K annually. We offer flexible remote options, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
Are you seeking a rewarding opportunity to develop your career in a clinician-founded and clinically-led organization? At OptiMindHealth, we recognize the vast array of choices for counselors in various settings such as hospitals, community clinics, and private practices. However, our focus is on making a significant impact in mental health care by addressing the urgent needs of our communities.
At OptiMindHealth, our mission is to deliver exceptional, consistent mental health care while expanding access to those in need. The growing mental health crisis emphasizes the necessity for skilled and compassionate clinicians who aspire to make a real difference. We value passionate professionals who wish to provide outstanding support, rather than those who feel burnt out or disconnected from their purpose. If you resonate with this mission, we invite you to connect with us!
We prioritize the well-being of our clinicians, allowing you to devote your energy to your patients. By fostering an environment of personal and professional growth, including tailored support for your unique needs, we ensure you can thrive in your role. Our dedicated administrative team manages all non-clinical tasks, enabling you to focus solely on patient care and contribute to meaningful changes in mental health.
Why endure the solitary grind of private practice when you can harness your skills within a supportive, collaborative environment? Join a multidisciplinary team and help reshape the conversation around mental health, all while we manage the operational details so you can shine.
Whether you are interested in part-time work, conducting group therapy, engaging in long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy, or treating couples, we can accommodate your preferences. Your exceptional skills are valued here, and we want to integrate your unique approach into our team.
The ideal candidate will have a profound commitment to enhancing access to quality mental health care. You will flourish in a culture that celebrates creativity, humor, authenticity, compassion, and determination. Whether through telehealth or in-person interactions, we support your growth trajectory while ensuring you enjoy your journey.
We invest in our clinicians by providing attractive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and ample professional development opportunities. If you’re working within your scheduled hours, whether remotely or onsite, you will be compensated for your time. Our comprehensive compensation package includes:
- Competitive salary range: $62,000 to $80,000 per year.
- 401K plan with generous employee matching.
- Health care benefits.
- Abundant paid vacation and sick leave.
- Paid administrative time for consultations, supervision, and essential documentation.
- Complete administrative support.
Our clinicians also enjoy several additional perks:
- Paid time for supervision, clinical rounds, and administrative activities.
- Flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle.
- Hybrid work opportunities—choose between telehealth and in-person sessions (in select locations).
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment approach.
- Robust administrative support.
- Leadership committed to understanding and enhancing the mental health profession.
- Focus on inclusivity, social responsibility, and client-centered care.
- We are an independent entity and not part of a franchise or investor-backed organization.
- Strongly clinician-led and clinician-centred.
Understanding your experience in traditional, business-driven organizations motivates us to foster an environment where clinicians thrive. Our grassroots approach has expanded our mission—from a single provider aiming to destigmatize mental health care to a diverse group of exceptional providers dedicated to this cause. We are proud of our success in extending mental health services and are eager to continue delivering high-quality care for years to come.
In this role, you will rely on your expertise to:
- Assess mental health conditions, formulate diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and maintain ongoing documentation in line with company policies.
- Deliver excellent care while collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to bridging gaps in community mental health services.
- Employ innovative interventions to help clients reach and exceed their goals.
- Consistently prepare and submit documentation for each session according to company guidelines.
- Maintain at least 32 hours of patient care weekly for full-time status.
- Coordinate with care providers, families, and other professionals as necessary.
- Actively participate in clinical staff meetings and training sessions.
To qualify for this position, you will need:
- A Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.
- A full, unrestricted license to practice independently (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) is mandatory.
- Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A commitment to collaborative and creative teamwork to meet deadlines.
- A comfort level working with a diverse client population.
- Ability to pass a background check ensuring safe practice.
- Personal boundaries and professionalism with clients.
Additionally advantageous qualifications include:
- Experience in community, group, or private practice mental health settings.
- Current paneling or credentialing with insurance networks.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- A specialty area of practice.
We eagerly await your application and are excited to share our journey with you!
