What We’re Looking For:

As a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC Developer, you’ll work closely with our Technical Development Manager and the wider development team. This role involves the technical design, development, and deployment of Ingenica’s solutions, primarily on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central platform. You’ll also aid in the upgrade process from Dynamics NAV to the latest Business Central versions.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will support and develop our C/AL applications, address development-related support tickets, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine specifications and ensure seamless transitions. Your comprehensive knowledge of our systems and architecture will enable you to implement smart solutions for new healthcare initiatives.

You will actively engage throughout the entire development lifecycle: writing clean code, producing thorough technical documentation, estimating project efforts for planning, and ensuring quality through peer reviews. Whether working on in-house or third-party projects, you will uphold Microsoft and Ingenica’s coding standards.

You will also assist in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central, managing the preparation and release of software updates from start to finish.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

NAV/BC Development & Upgrades:
– Demonstrated experience in developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV (2016 and later), including upgrading custom solutions and transitioning from C/AL to AL.
– Strong technical skills in C/SIDE, C/AL, and AL programming.
– Proficient in creating custom functionalities with AL extensions.

Technical & Functional Skills:
– Ability to translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications.
– Strong documentation skills for technical and custom development specifications.
– Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, XML, APIs, and other OOP languages (e.g., C#, Java).

Tools & Standards:
– Experience with DevOps, GitHub, and automated testing tools.
– Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards and integrated management systems.

Consultancy & Mentoring:
– Experience providing consultancy in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC implementations.
– Familiar with third-party NAV/BC tools such as Tasklet Mobile WMS, Continia, and Zetadocs.
– A collaborative team player.

Professional Attributes:
– Commercially aware with a strong grasp of business needs.
– Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
