As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand visibility and creating impactful campaigns across third-party retail platforms. Your strategic mindset and experience in both trade and digital marketing will enable you to turn broad strategies into localized, high-impact marketing actions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Partnering closely with third-party retailers to discover and seize marketing opportunities, ensuring harmony with commercial calendars for maximum impact.
- Increasing brand traffic and awareness through effective digital strategies that align with e-commerce initiatives at our retail partners.
- Overseeing Product Detail Page (PDP) management to guarantee uniform brand messaging across all e-commerce channels.
- Collaborating with our national sales and education teams to optimize in-store events and manage essential retail marketing assets like signage and sampling.
- Serving as the main marketing contact between the Head of Business Development and the Chief Marketing Officer, facilitating smooth communication and execution of our marketing strategies.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of robust marketing experience, emphasizing retail trade marketing (60%), media/PR (20%), event organization (10%), and e-commerce (10%) within the beauty or personal care sectors.
- Proven experience working with key third-party beauty retailers, understanding their marketing ecosystems, and navigating trade, promotional, and media calendars.
- A track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to evolving business needs and making data-informed decisions.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills paired with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Flexibility in location is a plus, with a preference for West Coast or Chicago-based candidates for effective collaboration with stakeholders. Occasional travel (1-2 times per quarter) will be required for team meetings and event activations.
