Join our team at Bitterroot Health in stunning Hamilton, Montana, as we look to hire a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist within our Patient Financial Services department. This essential role involves overseeing the insurance billing process for both our hospital and clinics. We’re seeking candidates who excel in collaboration and communication, ensuring seamless interaction with various departments, insurance companies, federal agencies, and third-party payers to facilitate accurate and timely claim submissions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and familiarity with standard office equipment. Fundamental computer and data entry skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and communicate efficiently across departments, including clinics, to enhance the Revenue Cycle process.

• Experience: Prior experience in medical billing is desirable but not mandatory.

Remote Work Opportunities:

• For those interested in remote work, a minimum of 1 year of billing experience in Critical Access Hospitals or Rural Healthcare Clinics is required.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week.
