Key Position Highlights:
This temporary role is tailored for physician residents in their final year of training, with the potential for a full-time career within our organization post-residency.
OptumCare will provide education and preparatory resources to ensure a smooth transition into a full-time role, offering a tailored program with exposure to our radiation oncology team and the larger Optum organization. The commitment entails just a few hours per month at most.
Compensation & Benefits Overview:
- The Physician Resident will receive a competitive adjusted annual salary.

We operate 22 medical offices, which include 13 urgent care and retail clinics, two lifestyle centers focused on senior care, and two outpatient surgery facilities. OptumCare Cancer Care is on the lookout for a Radiation Oncology Physician to join our esteemed Radiation Oncology division in Las Vegas, NV. This presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated physician.

Required Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O.
Currently transitioning into or early in the final year of residency/fellowship
Board Certified/Board Eligible in your specialty
Possess an active unrestricted NV license and DEA or have the ability to secure them prior to employment

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, or Washington, D.C.: The salary range for this position is $33,280 to $41,700 annually. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group ensures compliance with all applicable minimum wage laws.
