    With a competitive salary range of $83,000 to $87,000 based on your experience and qualifications, you will play a vital role in orchestrating team efforts to support injured workers in their journey toward recovery. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals and refining patient care protocols.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee a team of nurse case managers from your home office, ensuring smooth daily operations.
    • Guide the team in adhering to company policies, managing case protocols, and reviewing timesheets, paid time off (PTO), and expenses.
    • Utilize your expertise in the Case Management process to mentor staff on the RN – patient-physician collaborative assessments, planning, and care implementation.
    • Offer additional support during periods of staff transition or increased caseloads.
    • Contribute to the development of corporate policies and enhance protocols for case management services.
    • Conduct regular case reviews to promote quality improvement and monitor implementation plans.
    • Assist in delivering customer support to regional case managers as needed.
    • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members on performance and behavioral improvements while understanding applicable employee disciplinary procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is essential.
    • National certification in case management or a related field is required within 12 months of hire; options include Occupational Health (COHN), Case Management (CCM), Insurance Rehabilitation (CIRS/CRRN), and Disability Management (CDMS).
    • Active, unrestricted nursing license valid in the United States, Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territories; Compact License preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience, with at least 2 years in adult medical/surgical nursing and 2 years in case management, preferably in workers’ compensation.
    • Familiarity with Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) is a plus.
    • Strong independent work ethic alongside the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and comfortable with technology.
    • Strong communication skills in various formats (phone, email, text, written) with a commitment to follow up promptly.
    • Must maintain reliable high-speed internet access and successfully pass a credit and background check prior to hiring.
