    Job Description

    About Lyra
Lyra is revolutionizing mental health care by combining technological innovation with a compassionate approach, aiming to foster emotional well-being at work and home. Partnering with major players such as Morgan Stanley, Uber, and Amgen, we enhance access to top-tier mental health services for employees and their families. Our cutting-edge digital care platform and expansive network of providers allow nearly 20 million individuals to experience effective care and improved mental wellness. Founded by David Ebersman, former CFO of Facebook and Genentech, we have successfully raised over $900 million to further our mission of expanding access to high-quality mental healthcare.

    EXPANDING ACCESS FOR CLIENTS:
We are actively seeking to hire clinicians, counselors, mental health providers, psychologists, and therapists in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. We welcome applications from candidates in all states and provide support for cross-licensure opportunities in select regions, ensuring our clinicians are well-equipped for success while meeting their caseload goals. Thank you for your interest in joining Lyra Health!

    Your Role:
As part of our innovative approach, Lyra offers Lyra Care Therapy—a unique video therapy program that integrates live video sessions with digital psychoeducation and customizable skill-building tools. You’ll have the necessary resources to help your clients achieve better outcomes, all from the comfort of your chosen workspace.

    Key Responsibilities:
In your role as a part-time Lyra Care Therapist, you will deliver short-term, evidence-based treatments via live video, managing a diverse caseload with varying clinical requirements. You’ll enhance the therapeutic experience by assigning digital lessons and assessments to clients, tracking their progress and outcomes between sessions.

Importantly, Lyra serves clients from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, where delivering culturally responsive care is paramount. We are committed to ensuring that each individual receives personalized support that recognizes their distinct cultural contexts.

    Regular Engagement:
Connect with fellow therapists who share your passion for evidence-based care. Enjoy bi-monthly one-on-one meetings and access comprehensive training to bolster your clinical expertise. You will benefit from on-demand expert clinical consultation for your most challenging cases, equipped with essential resources ranging from specialty consultations to culturally sensitive care approaches. Even while working remotely, you will never feel isolated.

    Ideal Candidates:
Are you a licensed clinician seeking part-time flexibility while possessing strong interpersonal skills? Do you value ongoing professional development and thrive in a feedback-rich environment? If your experience spans a broad range of mental health challenges, from mild to complex, we encourage you to apply. If you embrace evolving processes and are excited by the prospect of a dynamic and rapidly growing company, this position is for you!

    Requirements:

    • A master’s degree in a clinical field (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC)
    • An unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent) allowing independent practice without supervision, free from any current or past disciplinary action
    • A commitment to evidence-based treatment methodologies (like ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and clinical best practices (including measurement-based care and skills enhancement)
    • Experience managing clinical risks and responding to crises
    • Proficiency in providing video-based therapy
    • Ability to maintain a part-time clinical caseload, ideally accommodating up to 19 client sessions weekly
    • Flexibility to manage a personalized part-time schedule, ensuring efficient management of sessions and breaks
    • Must be a full-time resident of the United States

    Benefits of Joining Lyra:
As a part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist with Lyra Clinical Associates P.C., you will focus on high-quality care while we handle the business side. Here’s what we offer:

    • Competitive compensation for both session-related and administrative work
    • Access to exclusive resources for Lyra team members
    • Paid time off, including vacation, sick days, and company holidays
    • 401(k) and retirement benefits
    • Equity options through discretionary restricted stock units
    • Employee discounts, including pet insurance
    • Free live and recorded CE-approved webinars (APA, ASWB, NBCC)
    • Malpractice liability insurance
    • Licensure renewal reimbursement for up to five states
    • Opportunities for cross-licensure sponsorship, if eligible
    • A diverse caseload of motivated clients matched to your expertise through our advanced care platform
    • A new Chromebook and ongoing support from our Operations, HR, and IT teams, along with a monthly tech stipend
    • Exciting wellness initiatives, community celebrations, and joyful perks throughout the year!

This part-time W-2 position has an anticipated starting salary range of $42,000 annually, depending on your qualifications, skills, and location.
