We are on the lookout for an experienced and meticulous Microsoft Dynamics NAV BC Developer to join our Ingenica team, collaborating closely with the Technical Development Manager and the broader development team.

Reporting directly to the Development Manager and the Technical Product Lead, your responsibilities will include the technical design, development, and implementation of Ingenica’s software solutions built on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC platform. You will also assist in upgrading these solutions from Dynamics NAV to the latest Business Central versions.

What Your Daily Responsibilities Will Entail:

In this role, you will be integral in supporting and enhancing our C/AL applications—addressing development-related support tickets, engaging with stakeholders to clarify specifications, and facilitating smooth transitions. Your comprehensive understanding of our systems will be instrumental in crafting intelligent solutions for healthcare projects.

You’ll be actively involved throughout the development lifecycle: authoring clean code, generating solid technical documentation, estimating project effort for planning and budgeting, and ensuring high standards through peer reviews. Whether working in-house or with external partners, you will adhere to Microsoft and Ingenica coding standards.

Additionally, you will support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central, overseeing the comprehensive preparation and release of software updates.

Your Qualifications & Expertise:

NAV/BC Development & Upgrades:
• Strong background in developing Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV 2016+) with experience in upgrading custom solutions and transitioning from C/AL to AL.
• Solid technical knowledge in C/SIDE, C/AL, and AL programming.
• Expertise in developing custom functionalities using AL extensions.

Technical & Functional Skills:
• Proficient at translating functional needs into clear technical specifications and solutions.
• Excellent documentation skills for technical requirements and custom development specifications.
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, XML, APIs, and other object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Java).

Tools & Standards:
• Experience using DevOps, GitHub, and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards and integrated management systems.

Consultancy & Mentoring:
• Experience in providing consultancy for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC implementations.
• Knowledge of third-party NAV/BC tools such as Tasklet Mobile WMS, Continia, and Zetadocs.
• A confident collaborator within a team setting.

Professional Attributes:
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of business needs.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
